Film

Film is both a powerful communication medium and an expressive art form. Students study and analyze films in this discipline to explore both history as well as theory.

Creating storytellers

Film reveals much about people and cultures; the use of imagery, music, editing styles, and methods of storytelling differ from one country to another. Our courses develop our students’ critical abilities, enabling them to appreciate different cultural perspectives in film. Students also learn the technical skills necessary to create and produce original films using equipment in our industry standard video production studio as well as cameras that students often check out in order to make valuable and interesting movies.
